"The ultimate cyberpunk doom project" Damn right it is. AZ is a fantastic community project filled with cool maps. The custom textures give it such a unique look, and the variety of mappers makes sure things never get repetitive. Unfortunately most maps lack difficulty-specific enemy spawns, so you'll be dealing with some pretty annoying fights no matter what, though it never gets unfair. Sometimes the visuals can be too good and make it hard to see things as well. The only significant dip in quality is map 12, which wastes its supremely cool concept on amateurish looking "my first level" type design, with nothing of substance besides the shock value.
