Never properly reviewed this one before so I did a second playthrough for the hell of it! EoS may be out now but I'm waiting to stream it for a friend, so I figured this'd be a good way to pass the time. Akashic Migraine may only be a single map but it's a pretty solid one! Early progression can be a bit confusing thanks to the awkward maze area but the rest is pretty straightforward and there's some very fun fight setups. If I had to compare it to anything it feels like a Ribbiks map that's falling apart at the seams (in a good way). The trippy and unconventional layout and very glitched out visuals make this a fun place to get lost in, and the original music track is pretty damn good! I don't much care for how the final fight plays out but that's a small blemish on an otherwise very fun map.
